About S.O.M.E. Fitness

S.O.M.E. stands for Sleep, Oxygen, Move, Eat—the four pillars of health. Our privacy-first approach means your health data stays on your device, and you get intelligent, actionable insights without complexity or ads. Simple habits, not complicated systems, help you thrive.

What We Collect

• Daily Check-In Data: How you feel, shown as a simple face scale. Your energy level, shown as a battery indicator. Your sleep quality. All three are entered by you each day. None of this is pulled automatically from a device sensor, wearable, or health platform
• Account Information (optional): If you turn on cloud backup or scheduled reminders, we store your name, email, fitness profile, and notification schedule on our servers so those features work across devices
• Purchase Information: If you buy premium access, we store your purchase or subscription token to verify and activate it

How We Use Your Data

• Personalized Insights: Your daily check-in (how you feel, your energy level, your sleep quality) is processed entirely on your device to generate that day's coaching suggestions across Sleep, Oxygen, Move, and Eat
• Local Processing: Your daily check-in data is processed on your device. It is not sent to our servers
• Progress Tracking: Help you visualize trends and celebrate achievements
• Optional Sync Features: Account, schedule, and purchase data described above is used only to power the specific optional feature it supports, such as cross-device sync, reminders, or premium access

What We DON'T Do

• No Selling: We NEVER sell your health data to third parties
• No Ads: We don't use your data for advertising or marketing, and we don't run any analytics/tracking SDKs in the app
• No Location Tracking: We don't collect or store your location
• No Health Data on Our Servers: Your daily check-in data stays on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers
• No Sharing: We don't share your personal information with anyone without your explicit consent

Health Platform Connections (Android and iOS)

S.O.M.E. Fitness includes the technical groundwork to connect with Google Health Connect on Android and Apple HealthKit on iOS. These connections exist in the app, but they are not currently used to collect, read, or monitor any health data. Today, all wellness data in the app comes only from what you enter yourself in your daily check-in.

If we activate either connection in the future to collect or monitor additional health data, we will update this policy first and give you clear control over the change.

• You Control Permissions: If and when a health platform connection is activated, you will be able to grant or revoke access to specific health data types at any time
• Export & Delete: You can download or permanently delete your data from within the app at any time, regardless of connection status

Your Rights

• Access: View all your data at any time within the app
• Export: Download your complete history in standard formats
• Delete: Permanently remove your data from the app
• Revoke: Disconnect any health platform connection instantly, if and when one is active
• Transparency: Full visibility into what data is collected and why

Data Security

We take your privacy seriously and implement industry-standard security measures:

• End-to-end encryption for data in transit
• Local device storage with OS-level encryption
• No unauthorized third-party access
• Regular security audits and updates

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services to operate the app:

• Firebase: Used server-side to verify and manage premium purchases (Google)
• Apple In-App Purchase: Handles billing for premium features on iOS
• Google Play Billing: Handles billing for premium features on Android
• Stripe: Handles payment processing for the S.O.M.E. Fitness web app at somefitness.com only. Stripe is not used for billing within the iOS or Android apps
• Google Cloud Storage: Audio content delivery, such as meditation and sleep stories

None of these services have access to your health data. Full third-party license information is available in the app.

Children's Privacy

S.O.M.E. Fitness is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
